Titanium Carbide is an extremely hard refractory ceramic material, similar to Tungsten Carbide.
Tungsten Carbide 91% WC + 9% Nickel Binder balls have higher wear resistance and toughness. This is an excellent general purpose grade for use in pumps and valves.
Tungsten Carbide 94% WC + 6% Cobalt Binder balls have better shock resistance than with Ni binder. This is typically used as a mining grade where toughness and abrasion resistance are also important. It has also proven useful in bearing applications.
